The Lament of the Processor
This is the story of a doomed first manned space flight to Mars, narrated in verse from the point of view of the ship's computer, the 'processor' of the title. Man bravely sets off to discover the red planet, but things start to go wrong when the personified god of War is not as welcoming as expected.
